Fiancee is flying into Gatwick 7:30am on saturday, im currently in Oxford (about 2 hours away)
These are my two options (keep in mind, i'll have ALL my luggage w/ me);
1. Take a bus to london at 10pm tomm night, arrive at Victoria station at midnight, walk across the street to Thistle Victoria ($135/night) and spend the night. Wake up at 7am, walk across the street and take the Gatwick express to the airport to pick up Danielle, take her back to my hotel till checkout at noon, then go across town and check into our real hotel, the 5 star one 🙂
2. Take the Gatwick Bus straight from oxford at 5am sat morning, arrive at Gatwick at 7am, pick up Danielle, and drop our luggage off at the hotel, coming back later to check in.
#2 is cheaper, but a 5am bus with all my luggage (1.5 months worth) sucks...
