What should I do to test my hardware for problems?

Here are my pc's components

P4PE
P4 2.4ghz
256MB Corsair XMS PC2700
Western Digital 80GB 8MB cache
Case-Lian Li PC65
Antec TRUPower 480 watt Power supply

My computer has been working fine, but recently my brother moved it while it was running and it shut off. Since then it just hasn't been able to start up. I've tried looking for a loose cord or anything, but i havent found anything. The MOBO's power light is on so i dont know if my power supply is screwed. all parts are less than a year old so I dont think anything suddenly bonked out. I dont know if the cord from the case to the mobo is screwed up.

Does anyone know what I should test first? and how? I dont know what i can do to test each component. If you have any ideas please let me know

If it was working fine before, more than likely, it is a loose connection. Remove all cables, memory, power cords and cards. Then replace them all. Sometimes a connections may not be good even though it appears tight. If that doesn't work, try running with only the video card and hard drive and see what happens. If you have more than 1 stick of memory, run with only one stick at a time to see if there is a problem there.

First, slap your brother in da hand for moving your comp while it was running. Second, tell him that if he does that again, you'll cut it off!!! I got the feeling that something might be shortened out. Got another ps you can put in? Also, this is bad, your hard drive may be kaput. It might be damaged since it might be running while it was moved; thus, the head may have touched the disk surface. Try a new ps first. And remind your brother again about you cutting his hand off
