what should I do for new year's eve next year?

last night's party sucked... I think I need to start planning Something for next year, at least for me + the friends that I like.

any suggestions?

I live in central NJ... anything in driving distance is fine (Philly, NYC, Atlantic City, Foxwoods, etc), but I'm not getting on a plane.

someone's jealous...

just being with your friends is fun. this year i went to a big party with a lot of my friends. first time ever. it was OK, but often, having a small local party is a fun way to celebrate the new year.

yeah, unfortunately. The nazis at my hotel wouldn't let anyone bring guests back to the rooms. They actually had someone at the elevator checking ID's of everyone coming in to the hotel.

So we went back out to another bar or two, then I took them to my car. I was a little too drunk to reason it all out, so I turned the car on to warm it up inside. I guess a cop got suspicious when it was on for so long. I was still mostly clothed, and the girls were just topless at that point

He sent the girls on their way, and then let me go after I road in his car for a few minutes.

Makes for a good story I guess.

You know what, this is the best suggestion ever. My group of friends is always out partying and this year we decided to go light on the holiday type festivities. We saved so much money by cooking tailgate type foods, buying beer at the store, and playing Guitar Hero and poker.
