What should I do for cooling?

I'm putting together a computer for myself (first timer).

I was wondering if there were any recommendations for fans or cooling set-ups in general.

ALSO: Floppy drives. I don't think that there's really any big difference of whom to buy floppy drives from; but if someone wants to blurt out a good manufacturer to buy one from, please do!

First, before anyone can really give you any suggestions on a cooling setup, you need to let us know what you're building: what cpu, mb, etc.. Also, I don't think it really matters what brand floppy drive you get. I bought a used one($5) for my newest system, and I don't even know what brand it is. I don't think it really matters as long as it works. I've got a floppy from a 486 in my other Athlon system.

The only floppy choices available now are probably TEAC, Toshiba, Mitsumi, and Samsung, and they're all about the same.

A big box makes cooling easy because the air isn't blocked so much by cards, drives, and cables. There's no need to go overboard with fans - you need one each for the power supply and CPU and maybe also for the video card, hard drive, and chassis. Don't let a chassis fan blow in the direction that makes the power supply fan work worse. In a tower case, hanging the hard drive vertically from the bottom 3.5" drive bay (use big washers on the screws or drill holes in the drive bay) will make it run considerably cooler.
