Im going to cut something on my case.

And cover it with plexi.

I want something big enough that I can see maybe the tubing i did and see my cold cathode light
must not be bigger than 12x12 inches

I have some ideas

i'm not quite sure what you're asking here........ like the side of your case which faces your hardware inside...... or what design you should cut?
 
I cut an AMD logo in the side of my case with a dremel tool. I backed it with green plexiglass. I origianally intended to put a neon light behind it but I have been too busy buying other stuff.

ah-ha.... i'm in the same boat as you..... though there are many things i could do... i want something that is original and represents me...... it's hard to think of something.... i may end up cutting a big rocket taking off becuase i go to U of Toledo and our mascot is the rockets
