what should I charge this guy to install a CD burner in his mac g4?

This guy wants to buy a CD burner I had on craiglist for 10$ and he wnats me to come to his place and install it, about 15-20 miles away. What do you think I should charge to go there and install it on his mac g4? including costs of the burner?
 
800$ i wish...50 sounds resonable to me, 50-60 is what I was thinking, anyone else?
anything special I have to do to a mac to make it work? what program do I use to burn on a MAC?
 
You know what happens to 90% of the craigslist transactions? One of the parties involved get robbed. And I don't mean just rob your money, they tie you up, throw you in the closet, and clean out your place w/ a crew.

he sends me emails from juno.com ... my guess is he is kind of old, he sent me instructions on how to replace the drive with a burner, haha. are there ones that are compatable and uncompatable with macs?

Figure out how much it would cost you in gas to drive to his house and back, charge that plus a little something for yourself. Yeah, $60 sounds about right.

just sent him an email saying 60 bucks, any idea if there is a compatability isues with a MAC ?
 
I just got an old g4 from a coworker that I'm using as a fileserver. I took the dvd burner out of my pc to install OSX on it. There's nothing special, I just plugged it in. I'm pretty sure it will burn cds, too, because OSX recognized it as a dvd burner.

how new was the dvd burner though? generally, my guess is they use pretty populuar brands.
