What should i buy!!?

i have about $450 to spend on my computer and dont know what i should get =)

heres my current system specs

Memory: 512 MB of Crucial PC2100

Hard Drive: Maxtor 30.0 GB @ 7200 RPMS

I use the 3ware 6200 Raid Card

i dont need a new CD-BURNER
nor do i need a DVD (might get another cd-rom).

i have FPS2000 speakers. thinking of getting new speakers ba4800 or whatever and maybe geforce 3.
(140 + 325 = 465 close enough ehe).

any ideas thanks

Is this money going to &quot;expire&quot; if you don't spend it now? Put the money in a bank account or a stable fund and let the interest build.

I would get new speakers, then sell the old one at eBay. The save the rest of the money for later upgrade. Like everyone said, why upgrade now when you dont really need to.

I got myself Monsoon mm2000 last month for $195 shiped. It replaced my old FPS2000, and I'm happy

Most ppl like Klipsch4.1 better, but it's about $100 more expensive though. Also, Monsoon looks much much prettier.

The Ultra160 Raid card would blow a hole in anyone's pocket too.

Wow I wish I have that kind of budget. :frown: I am only running a P3-500 with a TNT2Ultra. Also with a sound card that was made in the DOS days. Yep, before Windows95. Do you know how long ago that is?
