Hey guys,
I was once told that after a clean reformat, you should always runs windows update before installing any drivers (ok, so I do need ethernet drivers first). I was wondering if this is true, and if so, what's the reason behind it?
currently, my order on a reformat is:
delete partition, reformat, installing XP, put display to 1024x768, install LAN or Wireless drivers, run windows update, then install all other drivers.
is this the correct order for doing things?
