What should be my second major?

I'm already majoring in Comp Science in Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, but due to me fvcking around the first two years, my GPA is pretty low. Now I'm thinking about double majoring. I really wanted to do Finance, but with my GPA there is no way I'm getting into that. So I'm thinking about settling on Economics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. But I'm worried that with that major, there won't be any jobs available. So if you guys have any suggestions (remember that the GPA for transfer requirement must be under 3.0) for another major, please do tell. Also, I'm not looking to go to grad school.

Do general management. It's a lot easier than finance, or don't double major and just take a bunch of first year classes to bring your GPA up. Double Majors don't show up on the actual degree...they just show up on your resume and in the records...

You'd be better off finishing up and then hitting Grad School. When you do that, your GPA starts over, but the classes are a little different.

if you're not worried about grad school, why are you worrying so much about your GPA?
Also, if your GPA is a problem, shouldn't you be worrying about making it up instead of piling MORE classes on top of what you have? Life gets harder, not easier, with a double major.

FWIW, few employers look at your GPA - I have friends working everywhere from advertising firms to web design to accounting, and none of them have ever been asked their GPA.

Well, the only reason I got a low GPA is that I was fvcking around the first two years, this semester I actually worked and are getting all A's and B+'s in hard 300 level classes. So I'm not afraid of the extra work in the other major. What I want is to find a major that I can transfer over to with a not so good GPA and still be able to find a job with that major just in case I can't with my Comp Sci major. Philosophy sounds cool, but I don't think there are many jobs openings for that.
