what settings do u use to put 1.4 tb at stock speed?

i was just making sure because if u put 10.5 x 133 it comes out to like 1.396 ghz is that right?

I dno't think there's much you can do past overclocking to get the 1.4 you paid for. Good news is you will never see much of a performance difference.

yes, the default is 133*10.5
But it rounds up to 1400

Your board rounds that up or the mobo is set to the default and then some factor of like 0.25 percent...you couldn't even clock it to it anyways...It is a product of the 133 not being like 133.333, just rounding error....

It all depends on how far you want to carry the significant figures. The FSB is really 100 MHz + one third of 100 MHz which is 133.33333333333333, so the more digits after the decimal, the closer you get to your stock 1.4 GHz.

My A7V reported my 900 (when it was running stock) at 907 using that AMD cpu proggy. On boot however, it would display 900. It's all frequency, it is never EXACT.. think of radio waves.. frequency.. microwaves.. volts.. etc.

There is a bug in the original KT7A shipping BIOS (WW) which sets the 133Mhz preset FSB to 133.00 rather than 133.33. It is fixed in the WZ BIOS onwards I believe, but if (like me) you still have the WW BIOS for whatever reason you can get around it. Set the FSB to the preset value of 130Mhz, and Set the Plus Mhz value to 3. This will give an almost perfect 133.34 (as reported by WCPUID).

Set it at 134 if you really wanna be over 1.4GHZ. You won't tell the diff, but you will have more bragging rights.
