 Had something similar to this a month or 2 ago ... could have another forum though. A LOT of posts and the average was firmly 1152x864, most used either 1024x768 or 1280x960/1024.

;) 19" CRT monitor running 1280x1024x32 @ 85Hz (it's crisper than using the actual 4:3 1280x960). 1024x768x32 @ 120Hz is very crisp but too chunky on 19". I use a GF4TI4200 BTW ... hopefully going to a Rad9500PRO soon.

I have serveral. The 19 inch units all runs at 1280x1024xhighest color the card does. The 17 inch units are all set at 1024x768x highest color the card will do. I usually don;t bother to specify the refresh rate (I assume it is probably 85 hz or higher)

Whats PC_Marine, I am sure you remember when I was in SAS right? Anyway, I am on a Nec MultiSync 15" 1530v @ default refresh rate 32-bit and 1024x768 which is the native resolution.

1600x1200 on this 15" LCD (Dell Inspiron 8100)..

And you think 1600x1200 is small on a 19" monitor! lol.
