Just curious to see what most of the serious PC gamers are running at... personally I am running at 1920x1200.
It's a toss-up for me between playing at 1920x1080 in S3D to playing at 2560x1600. And occasionally - for that special game - 5760x1080.

i am unsure how i would reply in the poll
. . . and if i even qualify as a "serious" gamer :p

Which do you most often prefer?
My notebook at 1366x768 - by a longshot. It's where i do most of my work.
o_O

For gaming, it totally depends on the game. Older games, 2560x1600. Games with great 3D Vision support - 1920x1080. And for the games that benefit by Eyefinity (Racing; Oblivion/DA O type games), 5760x1080.

Now (i am going to anticipate your next question, so) don't go and ask me what i'd pick if i could only pick one

Here let me try this: What do you play modern AAA titles with most often?

I voted 5040x1050 but it's more accurately a 4880x1080 SoftTH configuration. If I want to watch TV while gaming, I drop down to just the middle screen at 1920x1080.

I use 1600x1200 because I am old school so picked the "Lower than all of these" option lol ;)

Yup i use the same resolution too on this old crt,but soon to change it back up to 1920x1080 but i got a t.v i game on at 1920x1080 but not all the time.

Used to have a 24 inch gateway that did 1920x1200,it was the most beautiful monitor iv'e ever seen with vivid colors and a sexy candy gloss surface.

That monitor was so nice i talked two other people into buying the same model and after 3 years they are still in love with it:)

Again it is game-dependent. Example: Bulletstorm and Alice MR at 2560x1600; Metro 2033, Crysis 2 & Dungeon Siege III in S3D at 1080p and DNF & Just Cause 2 in S3D at 5760x1080. :p

And i just finished a 5 month 3D Vision evaluation so my recent game habits would clearly be skewed in favor of playing on a 1080p 120Hz display.
:whiste:

i played more games in the past 5 months, than i did in the past 5 years (probably) for my evaluation - a genuine "working vacation".
(6 new games from start to finish and revisited nearly 100 games)

Would've loved to get a 1920x1200 panel, but I can buy a new SSD w/ the money I saved by going 1080. But such are the compromises one makes when on a budget.

Same here. 1920x1080 tn gets an SSD in my system more quickly.
