my gpa for this year was 4.909 on a 5.0 scale, but my school fubared the gpa system because i shouldn't have had this average (only a 4.8xx) and my cumulative gpa was below any gpa i've ever gotten😕

I stopped trying to make good grades in 6th grade and didn't start again until my 2nd year of college.

We really can't compare each other's rankings. I'm the top engineering student in my college class and I've met people that were to top of their high school class in engineering that switched majors because it was too hard for them.

we had a lot of intelligent females in our class, a couple of which were cheerleaders oddly enough.
 
It shouldn't be rankings. It should be PERCENTILES. Plus do you go by how many started the year or how many graduated? I had 30 classmates fail and just under 100 graduated.

one more thing: I agree with several others here. High School was a total joke and a complete waste of time.

Oh well I went to a really competitive high school and these were unweighted. I guess all that matters is that I'm going to UC Davis next year. What colleges did some of you end up going to?
 
13/75. my gf was 13/450.

i think in my hs, after the top 3 kids, everyone else right down through 20's grades were off, if anything, by hudreths of grade points.
 
I think I was 28th out of 128 or something like that. I've never been an extremely good student; my priorities place "getting good grades" pretty low 🙂
