What rambus mobo?

short answer: no

Although you could get a P4T533 to run in 200FSB mode, but you need PC1200 RDRam.

huh?

so you mean to tell me that there are NO mobos that support FSB800 and RAMBUS? doesn't make any sense!

gahhh

With dual-channel DDR 400 there is no longer a reason to use Rambus (ed) .... to overcome the bandwidth limitations of single-channel DDR.

Yeah but ddr is cheaper than rambus 😛

i'm trying to price an insanely expensive system - hence using p4 etc. i'm not actually going to get this
guess i'll have to go with a crapload of ddr instead. 🙁

Insanely expensive? It's hard to get a truly insanely expensive motherboard that's not packaged in a system.

How about a Super Micro X5DPL-8GM with 6GB (or, worse, 12GB) of registered PC2700.

I'm guessing your building a system for someone? Why not just mark the price up a bit ( a lot)
