What Ram should I go with ?

I am setting up for my new rig, I 'm caught between one gig or two. I see the CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual going for $123, But is this enough or should I use two gigs? I 'm a gamer and I like to run more then one application at a time I hate having to turn things off just to run an application.The new system will have a Dfi lan party sli mobo / Amd 4000 sandy /GF 7800 gt / antec 500 watt smartpower / Maxtor DiamondMax 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA150 Hard Drive.

F.E.A.R and BF2 love 2GB for loading times. Other than the 2GB in my rig I can't recommend others.

Don't get the 4000+ SD, not worth it, get the 3700+ SD and overclock or a 3800+ X2 to have something for the future.

Are you running an AMD processor like Venice, Toledo, San Diego, Italy, Troy, or Manchester? This CPU's Support DDR500 on their memory controllers with out overclocking. If the answer is yes then forget about DDR400.

I second that. But if you buy crucial make sure you get the retail package.Crucual's great warrenty does not apply (same is true for the others too) when you buy an oem product.
