Hey guys moved into a new house and wanted to see what my options are.
Comcast charges $50/month for regular cable, is there anything else? sattelite, directtv? that is cheaper and comparable in quality? thanks.

You can't type the letters a and e, yet you're on the internet? What's the world coming to? :( You sound like a prime candidate for cable, that's my recommendation.

It depends on if you get discounted internet for buying cable from comcast. I'm going to run about $70 a month for them both when I move in august.

Depends on what shows you want to watch and how many tuners you want to watch them on.

Cheapest is still an old fashion antennae on the roof.

Dish Network's barebones plan offers SciFi and a bunch of others for about $30 a month. I can't remember if CN is on there; if not you have to go to the next plan up at $42/mo. And yes, you have to pay extra for separate receivers in each room, but most of them have deals where you pay a whopping $1/mo extra for each receiver beyond the first, up to 3 or something.
