I'm starting to think that Putin is the modern Edwin Edwards to some of you. The attitudes people had about Edwards was always something like "Well, he lied, cheated, stole, gambled, whored, cheated some more, bribed, and who knows what else...but he was a good 'ol boy all the same". No shit he's a liar and a thief, but what the hell are we going to do about it? I don't live in Russia and their impact on the world stage is more bark than bite right now, so why get upset over it? It's Russia being Russia, we do have bigger things to worry about right now.
