What purchase have you regretted?

I'm still hanging onto a Q6600 PC and don't want to pay over $500 to upgrade it and all the parts that have to go with it. Still does everything I want including the 1 GPU-intensive game I play. No way will I spend over $500 on just the monitor. I didn't realize the top of an ultrawide is shortened - imagine my surprise when I popped it out of the box. Call me a noob.

the q6600 was a heck of a chip, but it's time has come and gone. I upgraded from that a year ago and haven't looked back. It's time to let go

34" 2560x1080 makes baby jesus cry.
my Dell 27" that I got 3yrs is 2560 x 1440.

34" 3440x1440 sounds amazing but honestly, dual 21" 1920 x 1080 would be easier for multiple windows.
(and cheaper)

Hell, back in my day son we gamed in 640x480 and liked it.
