What psu should I buy?

I've got an XP 1600+, GF3 Ti200, EP-8KHA+, and I do plan on overclocking to 1800+ speeds. Right now I'm running with a 300 watt Enlight psu, but I was recommended by a close friend to get a psu in the neighborhood around 375 - 400 watts. I was wondering what would be the best brand to buy as a psu and I hope it can be cheap too. I don't want to scrape like $80 bucks for a cruddy psu or something like. I've heard that Enermax had probs with psu, but Sparkle and Antec are ok other than they fact they that cost 70 odd dollars. I did see an A1 electronic for about 50 something and an Enermax a little bit higher than that. Overall, I just want to save as much money as possible, while still getting a decent, quality psu.

Um, there's also PSUs from Powmax that are AMD recommended and inexpensive. Is Powmax acceptable? What about other companies like Codengen and House Brand? Are these acceptable?

I'd suggest an antec or enlight, 340w or higher. Both are amd approved. The enlight 340w is approved up to an xp 1900+ and is usually in the 40's on pricewatch. Not positive on the antec 350w but I'd check amd's site. It has 2 fans and can be purchased at around 50 at places like directron.com. Runs my 1.4@1.6 np.

I wouldn't rule out the Enermax series of PSUs - I know may people with them and they've never had a problem.

First off, Antec is NOT related to Sparkle. Fortron Source, Power Man, and possibly PC Power & Cooling are. Having now used both Enermax and Sparkle I can say without a doubt that I think Sparkle is much better. In your case I would probably recommend the Sparkle 350W.
