Im planning to build a AMD XP or T-Bred system soon and i might plan to OC later.

im getting a Lian-Li 60 case and i want to know what brand/model PSU you guys recommend. THanks

What motherboard have you got?

I'd say get an Enermax or Sparkle PSU - they are both very good brands.

if im getting the athlon xp then im getting probably a abit or shuttle 266a mobo.

Stay away form the Enermax if you have a VIA chipset, the 5V rails tends to get pretty low when under full load. Unless, of course, you're ready to mod it with a potentiometer.

The Antecs are very good, I have a 400W and it works great.
They also have a 350W that comes with 2 fans installed. I think you can find those for around $55.
Pretty good buy actually.

Here's another vote for either the antec 400W or the 350W ...both are running great in systems that I've built...

If you buy an enermax make sure you buy one from a store in teh US. My friend got a 431W enermax for like 65 + shipping from some canadian place. The bad part is that when he went to put it in his system it never worked. He found out that enermax will not replace your ps for you. YOu have to go through the vender. This canadain place doesnt have a good rep for returns so my friend didnt want to waste 15 bucks shipping it back there, so now he has 2 enermax fans and 2 gold color fan grills.

I'm a big fan of my Antec pp403X. Great PSU and keeps the 5v rail pretty steady, too, even running my 1700+@1640. I highly recommend it.

Go with a Sparkle 400W. PC Power & Cooling is a good choice also if you have enough money. (Antec is fine to)

my Enermax never drops the voltage ever

I'd never go back to anything less than an Enermax...extremely happy with my 430watt one.

Enermax Whisper 5v w/ 2 7200 RPM HD's, CD, CDRW, 2 80mm fans, 900mhz T-bird, epox 8kta3, ATI Radeon 7000, tv tuner, network card, etc, etc and my 5v is at 5.20 and my 12v is at 12.66
