what program will take songs from ipod and put them on hard drive?

i think i used a program called ipod doctor or somethin like that a while ago. I forgot the exact name though. It named everything correctly too. anybody know of any programs?

I use winamp with the ml_ipod plugin for my ipods needs. I refuse to run iTunes. It will do what you want and more....

Try using sharepod. It lets you copy to and from your ipod.
