what program to use to write integrals and fractions and other math equations?

In word go to insert -> object -> Microsoft Equation Writer 3.0

I don't think this is installed by default, but the installation instructions are in the help file.


EDIT: oops its called Microsoft Equation 3.0
 
actually i do have matlab...but i don't know how to use the damn thing like for writing equations and such...i will try to install the equation editor since it didnt' show up...thanks
