What program to use to burn Divx files to DVD?

Never burned a DVD...so I do not know if I can just dump them on there like a data disc?

Yes I use nero to do exactly that.

On my copy the option to do that is called "Make your own DVD-Video".

I think depending on which Nero version/suite you have, it might not include an MPEG encoder. First step is to encode your AVI into MPG, then second "author" the DVD.

Unless you have a DivX-compatible DVD player, then you can burn the file(s) directly, treating it as a data disc.

if these are the files i'm thinking of, just know its not dvd quality

Then yeah, you can just burn them to a dvd as data.

Smetimes you need to put them in a folder and burn the entire folder to the dvd to keep Nero from complaining.
