What program is the best to use when you want to Slipstream?

I have found two programs, with the names AutoStreamer and nLite, and I would really like to know which one of those programs is the best to use when I want to make a Slipstreamed CD with either Windows XP-SP2 or Windows 2000-SP4?

I know that if you want to Slipstream Windows XP-SP2 and put another programs on your CD to, like Nero, it's best to use nLite, but that's not important here.
The important thing is about which one of these programs will give me the best slipstreamed CD of your OS and SP.

Or aren't anyone of these programs better than the other; they just do the same work in different programs?

I've manually slipstreamed in the past but with SP2 I gave Autostreamer a try and loved it. It slipstreamed, made the ISO, and deleted all the extra junk that gets created in between. As you said I don't think it's meant to add 3rd party utilities but it certainly did the slipstreaming part perfectly for me.

auto streamer works good and it is very fast nlite however gives the option to incorporate drivers into the install

I totally agree with you gaidin123.

I'm also of the opinion that the program AutoStreamer makes the process of slipstreaming really easy and painless. It's kind of a perfect program; if there exists any perfect programs in our world.

I experimented recently with both autostreamer and nLite.

nLite has a lot of potential, gives you the ability to create an unattended install slipstreamed CD as well as strip out things you don't need and/or add drivers.

It is not easy however to get the nLite options to work exactly the way you would like, seems to take a lot of trial and error unless you spend a lot of time on their forum learning how to use it. I did as much but never found full expanations on various options in the program. I made 3 nLite unattended install discs, all of which worked, but not to my liking. Either my username didn't come out right, or the computer would not power down properly (you may now shut off your computer), etc.

I ended up using my first try autostreamer slipstream to install winXP/SP2 together the way I like.
Wasn't an unattended install, but saved time ultimately over the nLite learning curve.
