what program is best for turning dvd to ipod movies?

with videora dvd to ipod, a movie on high quality is 700MB


There are also FREE converters, I will see when I get home
 
Of course it would depend on the size of ipod that you have to how many movies you can fit on it...but I have napoleon dynamite on it as an experiment..and it doesn't seem to take up that much space at all...I can't believe it took me this long to get an ipod...I was one of the first to buy mp3's when they came out...and resisted so very long on not getting an ipod..but then I thought...when you can't beat em..join em 🙂 <--self admitted electronic hog.
 
Bump..

Does know how to convert a widescreen (16:9, letterbox) movie to fullscreen (4:3)??? When I use any of the utilities mentioned above (I've actually tried 7 programs), the movie (Matrix) plays in Widescreen. I'm trying to get rid of the top and bottom black bars. I turned off widescreen setting in my Ipod.

I've tried to manually crop (clonedvdmobile, cucusoft), but none of them seem to work. However, I did find 2 programs that could remove the bars - PQ DVD and Cucusoft 6.0, but both are shareware 🙁
