Most good programs like Nero burn on the fly, meaning they convert from MP3 to cd-audio when burning. If your burner program doesnt have that capability, use winamp to convert mp3's to .wav, then burn to CD

Adaptec Easy CD Creator version 4 does it on the fly, just drag the mp3 files into the window burn and you have a nice audio cd

Just about everything converts on the fly. Whenever I feel like doing it manually, I use winamp

Sonic Foundry Sound Forge is the best, but it's pretty expensive. Lets you normalize all the mp3's to the same volume, and is a pretty good editing tool for album rips (cleans up a lot of crackle). Easy CD-DA Extractor is a decent cheap tool for normalizing, too, and only costs $30.

If your burning software doesn't do it for you, you can do it in winamp. Change output to diskwriter in prefferences. Be sure to change it back afterwards.

Dan, I'm really curious. I use DirectCD all the time but how does it convert MP3's for burning? I know EZCD Creator does but how the hell do you do it in DirectCD?

I've used a few programs, and find Adaptec's EZ-CD Creator the easiest and most organized to use.
