What processor are you running?

Running an X2 4200+, trying to run a pentium-d 830, pentium-m @2.4ghz in my SFF system, and an old P4 northwood 1.6 @2.1ghz. Was going to replace my 3.2ghz P4 engineering sample with the pentium-d, but I think I might change my mind on that one.

Unless I wait until the end of 2006 (when desktop dual-core P-Ms arrive) my next CPU will definitely be an A64 (X2 4600+ if I were buying this week).

Exactly the same here (well, I have a 2.8C that I run at 3.2) and I agree about the X2.

i have a pre-pentium. its in the basement. to me "what proc are you running" means, can i turn it on? yes. not only that, i just did turn it on, and started playing pong. what a fun game.

3000+ Winchester, although I'm soon to be joining those lucky 27 at the top, with a 3800+ X2 arriving in a couple more days.

i486 Pre-Pentium that works, except it has some occasional mouse problems. I also have a Pentium 166 compaq that used to be my mom's, a P4 2.4GHZ gateway that is my mom's current business machine. I use a P4 1.5 GHZ, and will soon be upgrading to an A64 4000+.

Oh and my dad still uses his P2 400 MHZ machine, but it has had hardware failures since we got it.
