I recently purchased a gateway gt5662, and want a card thats better than the 64-bit 2400xt :p. I was thinking of the 8800 gt. The problem is, the stock psu is 300w. What power supply should I get that'd run the type of card I want? Keep in mind my mobo only has 1 pci-e 16x slot, so crossfire/sli isn't in the picture. Thanks in advance :)!

What do you want to spend?

My first inclination would be Corsair VX450...they run around $60-$70

Whatever I need to. I won't be running much on it. I plan on getting a cool/quiet version of the videocard, if that makes a difference? I'd also prefer a quiet PSU :)

Not all PC manufactures are the same. Some use smaller cases and otehr like to go with there own size and shapes of PSUs. Just make sure the dimentions of the PSu you buy will fit in the case. From the picturs i've found of the case it looks like the PSU isn't as wide as the standard PSU. I could be wrong but if you have a standard PSU you might want to check it out.
