What ports to open for dedicated CS server?

Sorry if this is a repost:

Cannot find which port(s) need to be opened on my router to host a dedicated CS server (beyond the basic/primary advertising port, like 27020, etc.).
Currently, I can only successfully host dedicated games by putting my server in DMZ mode, but I'd rather not continue doing that if I can help it.

thanks for any and all assistance.

Man, for such a popular game this is a tough question to find answers for! I see 27005 and 27015 mentioned often, but I have found nothing that I can say
as an answer with confidence! I don't play the game so I wouldn't really know.

TallGeese,

From my experience running a dedicated Halflife server you need to make sure these ports are open/mapped:

TCP/UDP:6003 (Won.net)
TCP/UDP:7002 (Won.net)
TCP/UDP:27010-27015 (range) (Server)

I just used both TCP/UDP, but I'm guessing you only need UDP for the server, and TCP only for the Won.net servers.

Check and make sure these haven't changed in the latest builds of the game. Have fun.

Thanks for the info, Thor (Mjolinar was the name of one of my custom planes in another CS--Crimson Skies--I was addicted to for awhile). Appreciate the help!
For everyone else, I'll verify the ports for HL servers, and post my results back to the first post.

later,
Tallgeese

You're welcome. Crimson Skies was a lot of fun too. :) You ever play I'76?

Hehe, yeah that game was awesome, but too bad it never was fully realized with all the bugs in it. The multiplayer was fun though, and it ran silky on my Diamond Monster Voodoo 3D card on a Pentium 200mmx with 64 megs of ram. The car physics was great for its time.

Heh...I had a Monster Voodoo II (12 MB) on a 200MMX, same RAM. Glide was one kick-ass API. MechWarrior II was buttery-delicious on that rig as well.
