What Phone form factor do you prefer?

So lets say you have all the features you want, on the carrier you want and the only decision left is form factor, which would you choose?

I prefer candy bar/slider. But then again I've never owned a really good flip phone, and I'm loving my Motorola Z6 at the moment.

A long time flipper. As for features, I like a good strong signal and good battery life. I don't need pics, music, Internet or ringtones.

I've been a flipper for the most part. In the 11 or so years I've had a cell phone, I only had 1 candy bar / slider, the SE 710a. I traded it for a Razr, and have been happy. If apple puts 3g on the next iphone, I might have to give the candy bar another shot.

not to be anal but flip isn't what you say in the poll, you mean clam shell. I don't think anyone makes true flip phones anymore. And nobody ever liked real flip phones, they sucked.

I use to love clam shells but my latest is a candybar and I love it gonna take a lot to get me back to anything else.

Flip phone. With only phone features (no mp3, video, camera), alarm is useful, good battery life, bluetooth. I don't want to pay for extra features I don't use either. If it has a decent size screen, don't give me QVGA. I want VGA on anything with 3"+ screen (iPhone for example should have VGA!).

Flip here. Love my VX8700. I also use a BB 8820 for work and it is alright, but I hate having to lock and unlock it all the time.

For me flip / candy bar does not matter so much. I just like the phone to be very thin, like the Razr is. I hate having bulging things in my pockets.

I like my Chocolate for its size, but it's a little bit too narrow, so it seems fatter in my pocket. If it were wider, it would seem smaller, oddly enough.

It's hard to text on my Chocolate, though. For texting purposes, I'd prefer a flip phone or a better-designed slider (such as a Motorola one, so it has that bottom part on it).

Flip type only, such as the Razr V3 series.
THat way, it feels more like a normal handset.
And it keeps dust / dirt away from the keys
and display & protects the display from damage,
And when closed, they take up less space in
your pocket.
