What phone do you own and why?

Blackberry DTEK 50. Wanted a phone that I can buy outright for a few hundred bucks, and that one was one of few options. The fact that it's supposedly more secure is a perk, I'm not sure how much of a difference it really makes though given it's still Android.

V30, it was buy one get one free and a free projector with each phone( with rebate) it also had the best camera at the time . Waterproof and expandable memory. Big ass screen too.

I have the v30+ 128gb ... also got the projector and some decent noise-cancelling earbuds. No 2 for 1 deal though.

Really like the enhanced audio and headphone jack plus the camera is a lot of fun.

Technically I own 6 phones ... or at least, I paid for them ....
I got a Pixel Google phone earlier this year on ATFSFT forum. Because somebody was selling it and i was annoyed with my existing phone at the time.
I have my backup phone, Samysung Galaxus S5
Then my wifes phone is a LG something or other because her previous phone died (Galaxy S4)
My Mom is using a cheapo Samsung phone because it calls and txts and can be used for GPS if she needs it.
My Mom In Law is using some HTC phone that she likes since it's got a big screen and it works.

iPhone X. I've only ever owned 3 total smart phones - iPhone 4, 6, and X.

I definitely prefer iOS to Android, which is why I prefer iPhone. There was also way more money to be made on iOS apps than Android back when I used to make strategy guides for games.

Yeah, I have the same phone. After spending 4 years dealing with flaky Android phones from Motorola and Samsung, It's nice to have a phone that just friggin works when I need it to work.

That said, I'd consider a Google Pixel phone, or something else that's a "pure" Android experience without carrier bloatware. I loved my old Nexus 7 tablet, and I haven't seen anything like it from Google to replace it.

Xperia XZ2 Compact. It was a step in the wrong direction from the XZ1 compact, but the compact was the smallest high-end phone I could get at the time. I would've actually preferred a smaller phone, like 4.6" or much smaller bezels, but sadly this is what the Android world has to offer.

LG G5 - it's NOT a damn "i"phone, it's been paid for for a long time, I can replace the battery in 30 seconds, additional storage can be added/upgraded (microSD), it works just great.

Pixel 3. Had a Pixel 1 before it. Both were deals from Verizon. Hands down the most reliable, low drama phone I've owned. At this point it's basically an appliance which is about the most flattering thing I can say about a device. It just works. Great screen. Great battery life. Size is perfect for my needs. Does anything I could need for a phone at this point in time. Will upgrade to whatever Pixel 5 is. This was an upgrade from a Pixel 1. That was an upgrade from a Nexus 5.

Well, the box had been a little wet, which is why it was at a salvage store in the first place.

Still, it had to be a price mistake. Even considering the water damaged box they were asking $699.99 until someone restickered it. It was next to a bunch of knock-off phones for $169.99 and the other Note9 phones remained stickered for $699.99. I'm guessing some worker went one phone too far down the line when restickering those knock-offs.

No, I didn't switch the tags. They were behind glass. This one was missing the outer slip cover so it didn't look like the other Note9 phones, which I'm sure contributed to the error.
