Prior to Ukraine, I would've thought that at the least, they would keep their nukes maintained. But now . . . .
Just as an example, for the tritium core nukes, I think that needs to be replaced as radioactive decay progresses. And those are the ones you measure in megatons not kilo.Gen1 nukes didn't have much power.
But even fissile material decays but I guess the half lives are much longer.
