Regarding the Visor Deluxe and Palm Vx: I should note that the Palm V series can be a danger for people who use 440BX chipsets.
some of the Palm cradles currently out there has a problem with the Asus P3B-F and other BX boards (possibly/probably not all).
This is a problem that Palm knows about, but does not put on their website. They will replace the cradles you buy, but it's just annoying to have to do it in the first place. They will possibly soon be offering an adaptor which fits between the cradle and the motherboard. This adaptor reportedly (if it ever gets out) solves the problem without getting a new cradle.
My office had to exchange four cradles so far, which is getting to be a real pain. We're standardized on the P3B-F and the Palm Vx (and the OmniSky unlimited internet full TCP/IP thingy for it) for the office here, and we're starting to wish that the AMD760 would come out soon so we can analyze it.
BTW ... my ideal Palm would be a IIIc with OmniSky support with a Springboard-like or MemoryStick-like expansion slot. I had an amazingly resilient and totally satisfying Palm III, but I accidentally threw it across my room several times and then stepped on it (all cases being accidental) and now it acts somewhat funny and has a slightly cracked screen.
As soon as I'm sure OmniSky supports the IIIc, I'm there.
