What PDA makes the best e-book reader?

reading a book on a little screen will drive u batty. pdas with their small screense and low res don't display enough text for your eyes to quickly scan like on a normal book.

It does take some getting used to, but once you do then its not too bad. Cost-wise, I would recommend one of the newer Pocket PCs like the Ipaq 1910 or the Dell Axim. The 1910 has the better screen (actually the best currently out there IMO) but they're both excellent. You can use Microsoft Reader for ebooks in lit format and a combination of iSilo, uBook reader, Palm Reader, and Acrobat reader for all your various formats (txt, pdb, html, pdf, etc).

As much as I hate to admit this, a pocketPC makes the betterebook reader. (I'm a palmOS guy 😉 )
