What PCI card is everyone using with their AIW 9700 for dual monitor support?

I plan on running two Sony 19inch G410 monitors with my AIW 9700 and need advice on a secondary PCI video card. I'm assuming that getting an ATI PCI card would be the best right?

THe AIW 9700 only comes with one DVI out, tv-out, and svideo out... i know you can buy a cable to split the analog and digita signal and run a vga monitor and lcd but im going to be running 2 ga monitors..

Sorry for all of the uneducated responses...Even though you clearly asked for AIW owners. These guys must never have seen one before because the 9600AIW is the first to allow for dual monitors.

As for what video card? It really doesn't matter, all so much. I was going to go for the Radeon 7000 PCI card, but I sold the card. I, personally, would stick with an ATi card just for potential driver issues.

Looking at the back plate of the card, you?ll notice that the card lacks VGA or DVI outputs. These are located on the ALL-IN-WONDER 9600 PRO?s video connector. Two VGA outputs are provided for driving dual displays, a first in the ALL-IN-WONDER lineup.

that kicks butt :D

this would work for someone using a vga monitor and a digital lcd only, as i stated in my previous post.. i want to run dual vga monitors...

and why not just use a DVI-VGA adapter ?

the reason why a DVI-VGA adapter works without the wire is because the ramdacs output both analog AND digital signals. If you use the spliter, it will split the analog to one side and digital to the other (with no analog stream). So, even if you use a DVI-VFA adapter, it won't work because there is no analog signal. I actually read thru the 3dgameman forums and this is what everyone said..

would it matter if i get a 7000 PCI or 9100 pci? is there any advantage in getting a 9100 over the 7000 if it is just going to be used for my secondary monitor?
