I played BG2 six hours straight yesterday, eight hours the day before that, and five hours the day before that. That game is the ultimate life drainer.
The best thing that ever happened to AD&D.

My favorite group is Anomen, Viconia, Korgan, Nalia, and Imoen.
Substitute Edwin for Imoen when necessary. Also substitute Keldorn for Viconia if needed, but I found its better to give her a girdle of strength and let her fight up front. A basic cleric is still the best healer. (Especially since Keldorn is a freakin Inquisitor.)

That party has the perfect balance of ranged, melee, healing, protection, and attack with some summoned monsters thrown in for good measure. Though you may need to set your hero as a thief. The girls thieving abilities dont go up throughout the game.

Oblivion!

Nothing else matters.

Yep. I'm building a new system JUST for this game. I don't actually game very much anymore, so I usually get along just fine on my 3 year old laptop.

LOL I did the same thing. I built my current machine JUST for the game as well; however this was middle of last year when OB was still expected to be released 11/05. So it's still a good 'puter but I would have waited on building it if I knew the delay was gonna happen. Mine has an Opty 165 processor on a DFI LP mobo, 2x512 OCZ Plats and a 7800GT as the basics. Before that I had an eMachines Celeron something-or-other... Oblivion is really the first game that made me research computers and learn enough to build my own. 10 days to go!
