What parts do I need for these SCSI drives?

I'm new to SCSI hard drives and I need some help in procuring the parts I'll need to get them hooked up into my system.

The drives I have:
2 x Fujitsu MAN3367MC U160 SCSI SCA2 LVD
LINKAGE

I'll be attaching them to my A64 system. The mobo is a Soltek K8AN2E-GR (NF3-250Gb s754). The case is an Antec Sonata.

Right now all I have is the drives themselves, nothing else. What will I need? And what is the best vendor for me to shop at for this stuff? Or am I just better off trying to trade these for something a little less exotic (raptors)?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Yeah, that card IS expensive. I am not sure if that is feasible for me. I guess I could haunt FS/FT and/or ebay to find one used.

And I found a store called HyperMicro. They seem to specialize in SCSI stuff. They have SCA2 adapters for about $10 each. I guess I'll need 2 of those.

I'd sell the drives and go SATA. For individual workstations I don't see the SCSI advantage anymore. The card listed isn't even a RAID card.... and 40GB ea. is smallish nowadays, what with 120G drives going for $30 ....

It would be for boot and applications not for storage. I'm sure 10K RPM U160 drives are faster than my ATA133 drives.

Make a pre-patched Office AIP and a custom transform, then test-install it to the same drive it's located on, and I think you'll see who wears the nametag  My old Cheetah 15k.3, which is a has-been in the SCSI world, can still hammer it out in about half the time of my shiny new Barracuda 7200.8 SATAII drive. Mmmm, me wantie Fujitsu MAU-series next... 😀

For two SCA2 drives, yeah, you would want a pair of 80-to-68 converters, an LVD cable and terminator, and maybe the economical LSI Logic U160 card. Hypermicro is a reliable outfit to buy from, and I think they have a better price than Newegg for the U160 card, cables and terminators.

SCSI drives will smoke the hell out of any SATA drive (except maybe for a WD Raptor)
