Central virginia averages over 44 inches a year, I think last year over 59 inches. Where does it rain the most?

Seattle averages 37? and Portland around 43? I think the Virginia Beach area averages over 45.

Houston averages almost 54 inches a year.

Does Houston average the most rain a year then?

lol.. not looking at the right parts.

But umm, North America is quite large. Do you mean just in the US?

Alaska. Might even make it for all of NA, too.

In Yukatat, AK.. the average rainfall a year over the last 30 years has been 151.25".

Another high one is Hilo, HI with 129.19".

There are plenty of places in Oregon and Washington that also recieve well over 100" of rain a year.

Western United States Average Annual Precipitation.

Parts of California also recieve 100"+.
