I'm planning on getting a new system in the next month or so and I want to overclock it, make it quiet, and keep it cool.

Here are the system specs:
Antec P160 or Super Lan Boy case
Antec TruPower 480
Abit NF7-S
Athlon XP 2500+
1GB Buffalo PC3200 ram
3 HDDs
2 optical drives
Radeon 9800np or better

Now here is the stuff I need sifted through and told what is useless and what is not or if anything is over kill/something cheaper will give the same effect(I don't care if you just quote the list and put hot or not after each item):

Vantec Iceberq Solid Copper VGA and Chipset Cooler Combo
Thermalright SLK-947U Socket Cooler
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - 3.5 gram Tube
Arctic Alumina Adhesive 5.0g
Copper Spacer for Athlon XP2200+ and up
Enermax 92x25mm Variable Speed High Performance System Cooling Fan
2 x OCZ Copper BGA Ramsinks (4 pack)
2 x Enermax 120x25mm Variable Speed High Performance System Cooling Fan
Molex Pin Extractor
2 x Neon Blue FLEXO PET 3/8" Sleeving - 5 Foot Section
Neon Blue FLEXO PET 1/2" Sleeving - 5 Foot Section
40 x Blue 4" Zip Tie
Blue 18" Single Device ATA133/100 Round IDE Cable
2 x Blue 18" Dual Device ATA133/100 Round IDE Cable

not sure if your case has a window or not, i'm guessing by your choices that it does, but the pic i saw had normal aluminum sides, in any case, ifno window then there's no point in the sleeving, other then that the only thing i think you'd be wasting your money on is the Molex pin extractor, if you have one of those tiny screwdrivers, you won't need this extractor, there's 2 little tabs that hold each pin inside the plastic, with the tiny screwdriver you bend them slighly inside and pull out. then simply bend them back out before stickign them back in and you're done. unless you plan on doing hundreds of pins (or don't have the tiny screwdrivers, or have no thumbs) don't bother.

i didn't know all the items in your list so i won't comment on them. most good motherboards give you a tube of paste/grease already, so that might be a waste already, and quite frankly i think that stuff is nothign but a goldmine for the makers anyway, if you think that POSSIBLY getting 1 degrees cooler (vs the free stuff that comes with the mobos) is worth it then go ahead. or if you know your mobo doesn't come with it then obviously also get it.

I would skip the chipset cooler and ramsinks. Find out if your cpu is going to hold you back before dropping money on a noisy fan. I'd rather go for a Zalman nb heatsink anyway. Your video card will likely come with ramsinks already that are epoxied onto the card. I wouldn't want to risk losing them for a few paltry MHz (if any) gained by adding copper ramsinks.

Also, chuck the cpu shim or "spacer." You won't need it, and I have more faith in my ability to install a heatsink than I do in the shim. If it is curved or machined just a hair too thick, it can keep your heatsink from contacting the cpu properly.

You don't need a 480w PSU. I'd get a 380 or even a 330 unless you're just looking for an excuse to spend money. My machine runs fine on an Antec True330.

My "useless" list is a lot longer.... LOL
Everytime I throw out a "useless" part. I"m looking
for it the next day.
Everybody who builds there own boxes keeps old stuff.
