I love Ubuntu.
I don't have a problem so much with ChromeOS. It's nice enough and I would have no problem using it, but any computer that comes with ChromeOS is locked down and more resistant to user changes than a Microsoft computer.
Sure there are ways around it, but I can't support that.
Edit: When I say "locked down" I don't mean applications or how the OS works, I mean locking down the hardware so it's harder to install other operating systems on it. I don't have a problem with how ChromeOS actually functions or some of the criticisms of how applications work in Chrome. It's different for some applications, but not bad.
