Hard to say.

I have two PC's with Vista, one with Ultimate and one with Business.

Then I have a laptop with XP and a MAC Mini with Leopard.

I use them all pretty often for different reasons...

missing option: DOS.

home desktop and work laptop are both XP (32-bit -- home is on SP3, at work we're still on SP2).
home server is Ubuntu as of last night, before that it was Debian (and before that it was FreeBSD but that was awhile ago).
home laptop is OSX Tiger (10.4).

Main Desktop: Vista Ultimate x64
Media Server: Vista Ultimate
Dell XPS Laptop: Vista Ultimate
HP Laptop: Windows MCE 2005
ASUS Eee PC: Windows XP Professional

Home:
Laptop (main computer) - Vista Home Pro
Laptop (secondary) - Ubuntu 8.04
Desktop (media server) - XP Pro (although it also has Ubuntu and Solaris installed)

Work:
Laptop - XP Pro
Desktop - Red Hat Enterprise

MCE for the media center machines, XP for my gaming machine and fedora 8 for the fileserver.
and xpsp3 on the laptops and OS 10.4 on the ibook.

I changed my home machine to Linux a few months back. Haven't looked back since as it works wonderfully. I had to however import the Microsoft fonts.

Dang, this thread took off. I'm kind of surprised mac isn't more prevalent

you are? the mac hate here is huge

..if you work for a living you'll quickly realize mac is a novelty computer. Business and industry run on pc's.

OS X 10.5 and Ubuntu 8.04. My house has been windows free for the last 3 months (finally got rid of the last windows machine). It will stay that way unless microsoft comes up with a compelling reason to switch. Of course Microsoft brought this on themselves by pushing game makers to target their console, because most games are designed for their console first, then their OS, I might as well just game on the 360, which I do.
