What options do I have for making this navigation bar for a website?

I have about 6 buttons. Three of these buttons are supposed to have 2 or 3 sub-options that are only viewable when the mouse is on that button. Basically it goes from:

Button one
Button two
Button three


to


Button one
option a
option b
Button two
Button three

or

Button one
Button two
option a
option b
Button three



I was thinking flash but if there is an easier and hopefully quicker option I'd love to hear it.

I usually cheat and view the code of a site that I like. It's the best way to learn, for me.

if u have access to macromedia fireworks 4, you can do that in a jiffy.

i think you mean an effect kinda like the one i made on this site link
ignore the little flash bit & you see what i mean.

it's really simple to do in fireworks, just create a slice & when you roll-over, create the drop down.
you can steal the code if u like & edit it.

Thanks...They bought me and the other intern the MX Studio so I should be able to do it.
