Like if you met someone from another planet and could play them one song
for them to understand what it is.
... or if you looked up "rock and roll" in a dictionary , what one song belongs in the definition ?
Consider music as well as lyrics
Traditionally, it's always been The Rolling Stones - Satisfaction
in rock critics lists. Great song, I agree, one of my faves,
but I just don't think it's the defining song of rock and roll.
