if you like them, ferrero rocher.
if you dont, sugar daddy. that stuff will get stuck in your teeth and pull fillings out when you try to dig it out. that'll teach em to brush their teeth.

I'm going to suggest Dots and Mike and Ike. Both are good but just kind of meh. My bold prediction is that 20 or 30 years from now the idea of gelatin based candies goes by the wayside and most gelatin candies become like the hard candies of the generation before.
I always thought Dots were gross but Mike & Ike Berry Blast is amazing.

I don't do candy anymore but if I did, I'd do what my great grandparents did. Hard candy and circus peanuts. Now I want a circus peanut, and hard candy.

Sorry.... the ONLY candy I still like is premium milk chocolate and somehow I'll bet that's still pretty popular! ;)

EDIT: What just popped into my head that I used to love was "Smarties" in those little rolls.

Bit-o-Honey.

They're good IMO but to a lot of kids, the hassle of eating them isn't worth the reward.

Bring back Charleston Chews to help another generation of children remove their baby teeth.
They still make them, and they're along the same lines as mentioned above. Not a lot of kids like them for how sticky they are in your teeth.
