To me, that's the most telling statistic.

The people of New York City, the ones most affected by the 9/11 attacks, voted for Kerry by a 4-1 margin.

5-1 they are registered democrats. An even more telling margin.

Eh, I'm not agreeing with conjur here, but I don't think most people would stick to their party lines even if they thought they were in danger by doing so.

50% of the county (+350 or so votes). In Orlando, my precinct gave Kerry about a 65/35 advantage so I've heard, but I haven't checked the actual numbers yet. Too depressed. :)

Touche. It tells us TWO things actually. 51% of the country likes Bush, and 48% (well, 49% really) doesn't like Bush. That's two really large groups of people, we'd be wise to listen to them both over the next 4 years.

No, it's not. What was the participation rate? NY is obviously going to go Blue so I'm sure some were less motivated to vote.

Dang does noone have a % over 83%? Bush or Kerry? Don't tell me SF was the most decided city in America!

Edit: DC lol our capitol was 90% Kerry
Manhattan 82% Kerry! Ground zero 9-11 82% wanted Bush GONE!
Chicago (Cook County) 70% Kerry
Philadelphia 80% Kerry
Los Angeles 63% Kerry
Richmond, VA 70% Kerry
Portland, OR 72% Kerry
Loisville, KY 70% Kerry
San Antonio, TX 56% Kerry
