Not shens, it just means that the current business model isn't paying the bills. The fact that you're seeing the commercials gives no indication of what the commercial space is selling for. My guess is that it's not much.

Charging for the content will be the death of hulu. Their average user knows how to torrent. That user might sit through a few commercials, but he damn well isn't going to pay for something that's free via another download method.
