We have never had a debt ceiling breach before, which is what I have clearly mentioned is what will cause our economy to crash. The CR nonsense is small potatoes compared to that, but they are clearly intimately related.

You can't stop the ACA. You already lost that fight (repeatedly). The only thing you can do is fuck up the country on your way down. What's sad is that you might be stupid and childish enough to think that's a good idea.

We've hit the ceiling before, we've even been playing tricks(the last how many months?) to keep it from going over yet somehow RIGHT NOW is the crisis moment. are you really that dense?

Right now is the crisis moment because those tricks will no longer be effective at keeping us from hitting the debt limit in a little over two weeks. Why else did you think it was a crisis now?

This is the scary part, these idiots genuinely appear to be confused about why there's even a problem to begin with. This reminds me of the 2011 battles where the Republicans were desperately attempting to educate their new members on basic economics.

lol talk about ignorance... nothing you posted goes against what I did. Your article is nothing more than the other side's view(vs Buchannon's). but give yourself a high-five if you must... :\

So you didnt say the following;

The House has passed budget after budget but the Senate won't vote

As I already pointed out to you which you obviously didn't understand, is that the CR the senate passed could easily be passed by the house with a simple majority vote, something boehner won't do.

Continue you on with your display of ignorance though;)

The Republican Party is an embarrassment to the country. No wonder they're going extinct in the northeast...

BOTH parties are an embarrassment. Neither one can solve a damn thing and neither one wants to compromise.

Obamacare was rammed down our throats when there wasn't even a plan for it. The healthcare industry wrote the whole thing, for themselves, and left us with the shaft while the politicians exempt themselves from the full brunt. The rest of Obama's 2nd presidency has been one blunder after another. He has severely harmed this country's international stature and divided this country with moronic wedge issues like gun control and Trayvon.

Rather than being a leader with anything, even the wrong direction, he is nothing more than a follower and a sauntering little kid.

I mean, really, has any single President fucked his second presidency in as short of a time as this clown has? He has become a 3 year lame duck in the first 7 months of his second term.

You realize the senate passed a budget earlier this year and then when the democrats tried to go to conference to reconcile the house and senate bills the House Republicans refused, right?

It was hilarious, they whined for years about the senate not passing a budget and then ran away when they did which shows they were never serious to begin with. You probably don't want to remind people of that.

And you don't find it hilarious that the Senate hasn't passed a budget in years?

Both parties are equally retarded and at fault. This bickering is just retarded and just personifies the stupidity going on in Congress. It's especially great how the cockroaches (politicians) are considered excepted employees and they'll continue to get paid.

Yeah, because the entire country collapsed in 1995-1996 and it spiraled into Mad Max like dystopian anarchy with serial murder raper bikers dominating every freeway and cops being afraid to go anywhere. The entire economy collapsed and the national infrastructure decayed. The internet didn't progress beyond AOL dial up and we are all using 56k modems, that is, when we can get the phones to work b/c every phone company went out of business in the crash.

Ohh wait.

Well after 2.5+ years of constant threats, I guess it's finally happening. Maybe it will eventually lead to our political representatives behaving like adults, but I doubt it.

Maybe they're doing it on purpose to desensitize us to it so we get tired of hearing about it every three months . . . wouldn't put it past them.

From that op-ed from CNN, it may sadly become the norm as a tactic like the filibuster did. :/

There is nothing to solve. This should be a simple thing. Instead of doing what needs to be done, the Republicans are making demands and giving nothing in return...

The Democrats have done absolutely nothing wrong here.

And the Heritage Foundation wrote the plan 20 years ago. Thank them.

The only thing "rammed down your throat" was a republican talking point about throats which you seem to love repeating. An entire year of debates and 100 republican amendments says otherwise.

Every bill passed already should be funded. That is the way government works. You can't refuse to pay all of the bills just because you are having a hissy fit over something you don't like.

We know that you on the left like the fact that Obama is a dictator. I cannot wait until a republican comes in an pulls the same shit on you.

Union laws... fuck them not enforced. Welfare laws, Fuck them, ignore. ACA, what ACA? ignored.

The Republicans did already... Remember 8 years of Bush? Obama, who is middle right, is following most of Bush's policies, so I don't know what you are whining about.

That kind of ignorant retarded thinking is the problem. And that goes for both sides.

If you paid attention, you'd have learn that back in April democrats sent John Boehner a request to do just that, meet and compromise.

Johnny said NO!

And now, at the last few minutes Johnny suddenly reverses?

Do you let your kids play that way with their friends?
