What nationality are you?

Judging by most of the posts, people think you mean race. Some others don't know what you mean.

As for me, I'm American. (nationality)

Race = white

Ancestral national heritage = German

Unless you were born in 2 or more countries simultaneously (obviously impossible), you're nationality isn't 1/2 Chinese, 1/4 Polish, 1/4 German, or whatever...

Not to be a stickler, but after 800 threads about nationality or race, I'm sick of people not knowing what they are, or where their from.

EDIT: Assumption: When people say American, they mean United States, since American isn't nationality. Let me know when America becomes a country.

1/2 chinese 1/2 tawainese

Technically speaking I am

1/4 Shanghainese, 1/4 tawaninese of the 1st wave of immagration, 1/2 tawaninese of the 2nd wave of immagration (cantonese)

My Father is 1/2 shanghainese and 1/2 tawianesnese (2nd wave). My mother is 1/2 tawianese (1st wave) and 1/2 tawianese (2nd wave).

Either way im still a beloved patriot and a 100% born American!

Then you're American. PERIOD.

*must reiterate earlier post

50% german, 25% irish, and 25% amish.

Thats right, I am part amo...my great aunt and uncle used to live on a farm, drive a horse and buggy, had no electricity, made quilts, and lived in Shipshewana Indiana

Who knows. I have an English Surname and my Grandparents had a English, Irish and German Surname. My Mother also claims we have Indian Blood (Probably Modak Indian) But their families have been here for numerous generations so I'm probably closer to being correct by saying Western European.

i'm a bunch of european mixed together.. the only 2 things i know i am are french and german.. well i guess you could call me cajun/french, since my dad's family is from Louisiana.
