What music service would you recommend?

So i've decided to pay for music. But i dont know what service to go with.

I'm looking to:

Listen from my computer & Let my gf listen from her computer.
Stream throughout apt over network.
Maybe burn cd's to use in car.
Good Quality.


Do you think a subscription service would be better than buying per song?

Yahoo FTW with better coding and cheaper prices. Sure not a big selection like some of the others but at $7 a month and 192kbs it cant be beat if you wanting good sound.
Oh and they are cheaper per song as well.

My bad, looks like its can be had as low as $5 a month now :eek: And if you buy one year upfront you get another one for free. Damn I may have to sign up again at thoes crazy prices. Thanks for the thread op and making me look them up again :D

funboy, you cannot burn CDs at $7 a month.

If the stuff you like is on it, go for emusic. Otherwise, iTunes.

i believe (i will have to look)

And I am sure there is a "special" way around it all if your tech savy.

half.com + yahoo + itunes

basically $5 month + the price of tracks that I want to keep + cds that I really want

most of the time I jsut spend the $5
