It sounds so good, no loudness applied during production or audiomastering i guess. Which destroys for example most metal music. For example, think "Loudness war". It is not a limitation because of the digital format of cd, CD has inherently higher dynamic range than a phonograph record. But when the sound technician is forced or time limited or unaware, either or all... Then we can get an awful sounding cd.
This youtube song really has more dynamic range and sounds warmer than most metal music i hear.

Went a few years ago to a small theater concert from Michael Prins. It was a real enjoyment and a treat for the ears and mind.
